APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The Rev. Nancy Amos to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Amos is an Ordained Elder in the West Ohio Conference. She currently serves the Rolling Hills United Methodist Church in Zanesville, Ohio. It was previously announced that Rev. Ric Shewell, who currently serves at St. Paul's, will be appointed to Christ Church UMC in Portland, Oregon.

• The Rev. Daryl Blanksma to Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene, Oregon. Blanksma has been in ministry for 27 years and currently serves Trinity United Methodist Church in Toledo, Oregon.

• The Rev. Ryan Scott to Trinity United Methodist Church in Toledo, Oregon. Scott will be appointed as a Licensed Local Pastor. He currently is serving quarter-time at Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene, Oregon. 

•  The Rev. Nancy Slabaugh Hart to Madras United Methodist Church in Madras, Oregon. Slabaugh Hart is ordained in the Yellowstone Annual Conference and currently serves First United Methodist Church of Great Falls, Montana. It was previously announced that Rev. Dan Benson, who currently serves the Madras UMC will become the Director of the Alton L. Collins Retreat Center.

• The Rev. Deena Wolfe to Monroe United Methodist Church in Monroe, Oregon. Wolfe's appointment will be quarter-time. She already serves as a lay supply pastor for Monroe, but has completed her training and will be appointed to the new status. Wolfe will be working in partnership with Teri Watanabe, who will be assigned as a Lay Assigned pastor at Valley UMC in Veneta, Oregon.

Crater Lake District Superintendent, Rev. John Tucker has announced his intention to assign Teri Watanabe as Lay Assigned Pastor to Valley United Methodist Church in Veneta, Oregon. Watanabe is the Crater Lake Lay Leader and a member of the Oregon-Idaho Conference Ministry Leadership Team. Her assignment will be half-time and she will be working in partnership with Rev. Deena Wolfe, who will be appointed to the Monroe UMC, in Monroe, Oregon. It was previously announced the Rev. Mike Gregor, who currently serves Valley UMC will be appointed to College UMC in Phillomath, Oregon.
