APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
It is Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky's intention to make the following appointments, effective July 1, 2017:
- The Rev. Joshua Kingsley to First United Methodist Church, Portland, Oregon as Associate Pastor. Kingsley is ordained in the Episcopal Church. He currently serves as Priest-in-Charge at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in the Parkrose neighborhood of Portland. It was previously announced that Rev. Jeremy Smith, who currently serves as associate at First UMC of Portland, will be appointed to First United Methodist Church of Seattle, Washington.

- The Rev. Andy Oliver to First United Methodist Church of Portland, Oregon. Oliver is an Ordained Elder in the Pacific Northwest Conference, currently on leave to attend school. He will serve as Minister of Pastoral Care, a half-time position. Rev. Dick Stroment (ret.) previously held that position.
