Is it already September? It sure is! 

Many events are planned for fall, so take a look what might interest you. This Thursday you may want to partake in the FREE workshop, What Religious Leaders Don't Know about Domestic and Sexual Violence (and why it matters). Our own Rev. Warren Light will be one of the presenters. Registration is now open for the Stewardship Summit that will be presented by Cesie Dulve-Scheuermann and Bill Mullette-Bauer. When's the last time you took a "Sabbath rest"?  Lowell's Thoughts for the Journey reflects on his "Sabbath rest", and how important that can be in our lives.

Annual Fall Charge Conferences are just around the corner, so be sure to check out the website for details.

Lastly, I would like to say, thank you to everyone who has graciously welcomed me to the district. At the end of this week it will be two months and it sure has gone by fast. I appreciate all of your kindness as I learn the ropes to my job.
