APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Bishop Elaine Stanovsky has announced the appointment of Rev. Brett Stuvland to Aloha United Methodist Church in Aloha, Oregon, effective October 1, 2018.
Stuvland is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and will serve quarter-time as a Licensed Local Pastor.
Rev. Leslie Hall served Aloha UMC until June 2018.

District Superintendent Rev. Erin Marting has announced the assignment of Rev. Karen Ward to Parkrose United Methodist Church in Portland, Oregon, as a half-time Transitional Pastor effective October 15, 2018.
Ward is an ordained Episcopal Priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Tacoma and has worked with new church starts and creative arts ministries in Seattle and Portland.
In addition to this position, Ward will be working with the Oregon-Idaho Conference as the Anti-Racism/Beloved Community Coordinator.
