Thank you so much for joining us Wednesday in our first-ever virtual AC session to address the essential business of the Conference! We know there were some challenges with adapting to participating and voting in a virtual setting. But true to your nature, you met the challenge with grace and determination!
We would sincerely appreciate your feedback on this year’s Annual Conference session and have set up a survey for you to offer your thoughts. There are just 12 questions, which should take you no more than 5 or 6 minutes to respond. Your input is valuable and necessary. Please respond to this survey by Oct 1.

As wildfires rage, we add to our prayers yet another crisis. Our individual prayers are crucial, but our corporate prayers are needed, too.
Join United Methodists from across the Greater Northwest Area in a time of prayer, reflection, and praise in online worship this Sunday, September 20, at 3 p.m. Alaska Time/ 4 p.m. Pacific / 5 p.m. Mountain time.

Join us for a laity gathering next week!
Your Oregon-Idaho Conference Board of Laity has put together an exciting laity session Webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (Pacific Time) or 7 to 8:30 p.m. (Mountain Time).
You’ll hear stories from local churches and comments from your district and conference lay leaders as the four-year Annual Conference them “What does love require?” is explored.
Registration is free, but required in advance in order to access the Zoom webinar. (Please note, once you register, you will receive a confirmation email via Zoom and a reminder email an hour prior to the session beginning also from Zoom.)
Speaking of laity ... watch conference laity address
Because Annual Conference was stripped down to an essentials-only session on Wednesday night, there was not time for Conference Lay Leader Jan Nelson to give her annual Laity Address. But don't worry, you can watch it online and discuss it with her at the laity gathering on Wednesday!
Annual Conference follow-up information
Over the course of the next week, information shared during the virtual AC session – everything from videos to daily proceedings – will be available on the AC 2020 info page: www.umoi.org/acinfo. Please bookmark that page.
Additionally, Conference Secretary Laura Jaquith Bartlett announced during Wednesday night’s session that production of the 2020 Conference Journal is underway. More details will be coming in the next month on how to access that.
