We are announcing the following intended appointment for the Alaska, Oregon-Idaho and Pacific Northwest Conferences this week. Clear appointment openings, those open due to retirements and other changes, are updated regularly on the Greater Northwest Area website.

There are no appointments to announce in the Alaska Conference this week.

Columbia District Superintendent, Rev. Tim Overton-Harris, intends to assign Rev. Ken Wytsma as the interim pastor at Beaverton First UMC in Oregon, effective Aug. 1, 2022.

Rev. Wytsma is founder of The Justice Conference and has been serving as the interim pastor at Epworth UMC in Portland, Oregon, since February.

Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev. Donna Pritchard as co-pastor of Edmonds United Methodist Church in Edmonds, Washington, beginning September 1, 2022.

Rev. Pritchard, a retired elder in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, last served First UMC in Portland, Oregon, until January of this year. She replaces Rev. Joanne Coleman Campbell who has served Edmonds UMC as interim pastor since February.

Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev. Ann Jacob as co-pastor of Edmonds United Methodist Church in Edmonds, Washington, beginning July 1, 2022.

Rev. Jacob was approved as a licensed local pastor by the PNW Clergy Session when it met earlier this month. She has been serving on the pastoral team at Edmonds UMC in lay-assigned status since 2019.
